Diet Recommendations for Your Cat or Dog
There’s a saying “you are what you eat.” What your pet eats affects his/her overall well being just like it does for us. Paying close attention to ingredients we feed our pets is an important part of pet ownership. Next time you are at the pet store or grocery store buying pet food, take a look at the back of the bag or can and read those ingredients. You’d be surprised by how many unhealthy, unnecessary ingredients make up that food. The general rule is to look at the first 5 ingredients. The first ingredient should always be a full protein source.
